With Michael in Utah this last weekend for his Grandma Jolley's funeral, the children and I had to travel South by ourselves. This a huge feat for myself, as when I get in the car, I get sleepy! Thanks to all who were home and available to talk to me!! :)
It was a full 2 days. Saturday afternoon we spent in Centerville at Poppa Frank & Grandma Vickie's. The girls played with Kaylea and Grandma and then we went and visited Uncle Tony & Aunt Julie's new place. Grace was hesitant at first but soon was loving flying down the driveway with Uncle Tony on their 4-wheeler. I wish I had taken a picture - she was wearing one of his shirts and just loving it!
Saturday night we attended a surprise party for my Uncle Brad's 40th Birthday. The bigger shock of the evening was when my mom was pointing me out to an old teacher of her's and said, "That's my oldest - she'll be 30 in January." I can't be that old.
Sunday we were at RahRah & Poppa Hollywood's and then traveled to Grandma & Grandpa Great's to celebrate the multiple birthdays of August & September. It was a nice relaxing day! (Pictures later)
On the way home, we had to adventures. With only about 40 minutes left, I hear Grace laugh and say,"He's got a paper napkin!" and thought nothing of it! Then a minute later she says,"The baby has a paper napkin!" and then I realized that the movie didn't have any babies in it and the baby must be Luke. He had two handfuls of paper napkins and was quite displeased when I took them away!!
About 2 minutes later, we had our first roadside-pee. Grace refused to go before we left and has it had been over 3 hours since we had left anyways, she had to go and go now! We all survived and were still nice and dry when we arrived home 4 hours after we left.
I'm so glad Michael is coming home tomorrow!!

Baby Squirts
Okay, this may be more than some people need to know but as this serves as a journal of our lives, I have to blog on it.
In our home, my chest (and everyone's) is referred to as "Baby Food" - as that is how the girls see them being used. For a while now, Grace is wanting to know when her's will grow and be as big as mine and how come Daddy's aren't big like Mommy's.
So yesterday in the car, Grace informed Audrey and myself that until they grow into "Baby Food", she and Audrey have "Baby Squirts"; instead of milk, they squirt water.
I love my 4 year old!!

All about the same age...
I thought it would be fun to compare some pictures of the kids. While I was looking for pictures that show them all about the same age, I found these pictures of Michael too. Michael is pretty new while Luke is about 6 weeks here. I think it's cute though!
All of these pictures are at about 2.5-3 months for each child. Grace on her blessing day, Audrey on her blessing day and Luke this last week. I'm sure that people who know me better see me in my children. I see Jolley...

Aren't they adoreable? :)

This weekend we had our ward Book of Mormon activity. I thought it was a lot of fun and we had a nice turn out (over 80 people!). There were BoM trivia questions, Nephite headdresses to make, glow in the dark rocks like the Brother of Jared to paint, jousting, BoM knowledge test (yes, Darcy, it was ENOS!) and of course food.
Our neighborhood's Nursery Nephite maidens.
We had a great time. Thanks to the committee for putting it together, thanks to those that came and those that helped!! You can see more pictures here.

Baby laughs & bubbles
I hope you can see the video. Let me know if I need to change how I'm uploading videos.
Creative?
However, I am still going to decorate. For the first time in 7 years, Michael and I put in dry-wall screws. Not just the little pin pricks or nail holes, but 1/2 inch holes. I don't care if our landlord has a fit when we leave. Our rental will be otherwise in better condition than when we arrived.
The girls and I bought this wooden shelf and painted it green. It's a little brighter than I was going for, but all in all, the color still goes with all 3 children's decorations. The girls helped me paint it too, so they love it that much more! :-)
