We celebrated Audrey's 3rd birthday at the only place on earth (or Waterloo) a child wishes to celebrate - Chuck E. Cheese. She was very excited to invite her friends!! I think they all had fun and their moms enjoyed it too!

Fall Leaves
Last fall, we played in a huge pile of leaves at N&J's. Earlier this day, Audrey had seen her Uncle Jer raking them up again and was so excited to go play at their house when the kids got home. But as we went by to get Grace, she noticed that they were all gone and was heartbroken! So we stopped and borrowed their rake to create some good piles in our front yard.

Halloween ... was it really that long ago?
Okay, I was checking out Marci's blog and realized that I really need to be better at this whole blogging thing. My excuse (3 Christmas stockings in almost 8 weeks) is not very good... :)
So our Halloween was enjoyable. We started with a Trunk-or-Treat with the ward on Thursday, went out with some cousins & friends on Halloween night (although Audrey puked after the 3rd house and had to go home - was coughing too hard, poor Dora), and then attended Great-Grandma Jane's Halloween party on Saturday. So all in all, the kids got dressed up in their costumes 3 times this year!!
And our last family photo.

Dora & Daddy at Trunk-or-Treat.
She wouldn't wear the wig for the party on Saturday though.
Our little Horsey - I know white & brown makes it look like a Cow but he was a Horse.
Grace taking a swing with the metal bat...
Bobbing for Apples was a game that night. Audrey got mad when Grandma Vickie handed her one from the pot and said,"No, I can do it myself." So Vickie put it back, expecting Audrey to try to get it with her teeth. Smart kid, she reached right in with her hand... :)

True Post
I know that I need to update our blog, as the last time was over a month ago. I don't have a lot of time, so I'm going to give quick little things about each of us.
Jamie: Has almost completed 3 Christmas Stockings since the beginning of October - thus no blog updates. Joined a book club and am trying to keep my head above water with my calling at church and at home.
Michael: Loves his job but is considering teaching so he's doing his research to see on his options there. Is enjoying working with the Elders and is excited about a missionary workshop at the beginning of 2009 that they are planning.
Grace: Got her hair cut so her bangs will grow (it only happens if you cut your hair short - or so her momma tells her) and has begun sounding out words and learning her letter sounds.
Audrey: Turned 3 today!! She also got a hair cut and has really blossomed in her music class. She loves to watch "Dancing with the Stars".
Luke: is teething! He's got one that keeps popping up and down. I'm hoping it will come through and stay soon!! He's smiling and cooing and laughing at us all the time and has begun to sleep more in the night - yeah!!
Okay that's if for now. Need to go open Birthday presents for the Birthday Girl and her sister!!
