Adventures in May

The May showers have brought a lot of fun things to us. Luke started drinking from a bottle again, although not all of the time. He received his first hair cut from Momma and then after our Disney trip, he received his first cut with the clipper. We traveled to Pella to spend time with friends from Iowa City and to Disneyland to visit Poppa Michael for a few hours and spend time with Uncle Patrick. It has been a very busy month!

Sunday in Prairie

We went up to Alicia & Tim's for dinner last night. On the way there we realized that it has been a year & half since we were last there... We're so sorry! :0) But as we already have two more occassions to go this fall, we'll break our record. It was just a nice evening, having dinner, the girls all playing and then walking down on the island. The most exciting part of the evening was watching Ellia try to get into the Mississippi River... Sorry Slish, it was cute!

Audrey is really into coloring in her coloring books. One day, she decided that she wanted to be a little bit more like me. When I was 3 or 4, I found a red pen under my dad's truck in the street. I don't remember where I did it, but I wanted to put make-up on my baby girl. I did her eyes, her cheeks, her hands & feet.

Hungry Monster

Our boy has continued to grow - eating pretty much all the time. Only now, it's food - baby food, table food, food off the floor... :) I think he's gotten back into his growth pattern, if not, he's got a high metabolism!

He started teething on top a few weeks ago and for a while, every bite was taken like the picture below - open - insert food - close mouth - suck lip.
