To Grandma's House...

The funny thing about having kids is that you look at what they're doing and remember doing that same thing yourself. Last weekend, we visited RahRah & Poppa Hollywood. On Saturday I just kept having memories of myself being 5 years old and doing the same or very similar thing at my grandma's house.

Begging and begging to get in the hot tub. I did that.

Wanting to ride the horses! G&G had real ones though.

Fancy nails (it's hard to see but we had stickers & french tips).

I remember sitting there while Aunt Carrie would paint her nails and then mine.

And something new...

Gardening with RahRah. And yes, he's nakey.

And here I am this morning, 32 weeks & 6 days.

Maybe only 6.5 weeks to go?

When I grow up, I want to be ...

For the last few weeks, Audrey has been telling me she wants to be a Princess when she grows up. And I keep saying okay. Well Audrey's class had their class recognition today. It was really sweet. As they called each child's name, they came up the microphone, held up the picture they drew and told us what they wanted to be when they grow up. It's a picture of her and me, but I'm the Queen (not sure which one that is, exactly). She really has enjoyed her preschool and her teachers! We're glad she'll be back for another year!

I was at my mom's this last week (Hi Mom!) and realized that she also uses our blog as her home page and how disappointed she must be whenever she opens her internet and it's the same old stuff... So, here's a new picture, Mom. I'm 28 weeks here and have most definitely grown since then but it's the only prego pix I have.

I'm totally thrilled that the sun is out today and that Michael was home for this morning. Even though he can only work part-time at VCU, it is giving us a lot of opportunities to do those jobs that have been waiting all semester to get done. So he took care of the cars & the kiddos and I did the house and we got things rolling. Soon we'll start working on the girls' room downstairs. I'm excited!!! Well, Bubba's crying b/c he's done in bed. Have a great weekend everyone (and MOM!!)

Easter 2010

We had a nice Easter in Waterloo this year - although I missed my family down south - and the Lamb cake. It looked good Tonio. On Saturday we spent the afternoon out at the Oesterles, having an egg hunt with Ellia (Alicia's daughter). The 4 kids had fun and I'm pretty sure that the adults enjoyed themselves too! Thanks for the invite!
