Iowa City visits

While Michael was slaving away at work on Black Friday, the kiddos and I headed to Iowa City to visit with family and friends. Our first stop was at Lolly & Del's (my step-grandparents). We hadn't visited them in a while and to our surprise, my step-brother Gabe and girlfriend Pam were there too. I hadn't seen Gabe since my wedding. LONG time!!! We stayed for a few hours and by the time we left, I was starting to be stressed by my kids. {sigh}

 So we moved on to our next place of visit, where I told the hostess that I was glad to be there because I knew my kids couldn't hurt her house. Gotta love a Grandma's house!! My good childhood friend Bren was home for Thanksgiving, so Alicia & I combined our children and invited Bren to come play. It was fun and chaotic and I'm glad that the Basement is still useable for children. We spent many hours and nights down there. Now I know why. :0)

Happy Halloween

Halloween at our house was a fun adventure. Saturday night we attended the Ward Trunk or Treat where the children all got a great stash of candy. Everyone (except for me) was generous with their handouts and the kids loved running around in the dark. Grace had helped Luke get dressed in his costume, stripping him down to his tighty-whites. He was a shivering little Hero!! :0)

Luke was Captian America, Audrey was "CeCe" from "Shake It Up on Disney and Grace was Hermine Granger from Harry Potter. Ryan was the monkey but he refused to wear the costume on Halloween night.

Our camera is dying so these are the best I got. We can still see our awesome children though! :0)
