Carving Pumpkins

After several delays, we finally got to carving the Jack O'Lanterns tonight. We scooped them out yesterday afternoon and planned on carving them up with RahRah and Poppa H. But that wasn't able to happen, so we got them done tonight. Each child designed his or her own; we handled the knives. No cuts and happy children!! Yeah!

Michael and I went to an Adult-Only Halloween Party on Friday night. It was a lot of fun - and I am really glad we went. I was a Bed Bug & Michael was a poor farmer. He was more proud that he got most of his outfit out of his dad's closet! :0)

Updates

A few photos to display our current life. Nothing exciting but the little changes of life.

Audrey lost both teeth on either side of her lower front teeth. Audrey was the Student of the Month for September for her class. She, along with all the other Sudents of the Month, were recognized at the school pep assembly and then got to go eat lunch at a partner in ed's place the following week. We are very proud of her!

Luke's most recent thing - taking all the juice boxes that they aren't allowed to drink (they are for the Cub Scouts) and lining the back of our toilet while I shower. He's so proud of himself.

Ryan discovered he likes spaghetti. Yikes!

And Grace likes Blue eye shadow. She, with all of her girl cousins, have moved into the makeup phase of life. UGH!!!!! Where'd my baby go?

Boy Update

Luke started Preschool in a 3/4 yr old class this year, going twice a week for a few hours. He's so funny about it - every day, he tells me he isn't going to school, even as we drive up to the building. But once we are inside, he's all about it and has no problem staying. I know he has fun and enjoys playing with the other kids. And I enjoy the break!
