To Houston or Bust!

We traveled to Houston, Texas last weekend for my baby brother's wedding in the Houston Temple. It was so thrilling to be there with them. Everything went pretty smoothly. We flew down due to the short notice (they got engaged at Christmas time and were planning on getting married in May in Nauvoo. He got orders that his reporting to Officers' Camp got moved up, so the wedding had to as well. 23 days from the day he got the new orders to when they got married)

Luke loved flying and everyone was fantastic. This a picture of him burping. He was famous for saying, "Are we now?" for the last 30 minutes of the flight, every 30 seconds. No joke.

Grace was thrilled that RahRah let her borrow the Nook and that she had her "own" seat "by herself". Good thing we weren't too far away (Dad, Ry & Aud was just across the aisle & we were up one row).

Ryan enjoyed his first airplane ride, as long as he was with Daddy. Mom didn't bring anything to do for the flights - figured she'd be busy! It was nice to relax.

Audrey loved sitting next to Dad & Ryan and doing what she loves to do the most - color.

All of Patrick's family stayed at the same hotel - which was lots of fun for the tiny family reunion we had. The kids ran wild (yes, we were that family), going between rooms & the lobby. We congregated in the breakfast area when we were in the hotel and just had a nice time. The kiddos loved playing "Monkeys" on the luggage carts. (Above, Luke & my brother Tony's daughter Sofia)

Being in Texas, we were expecting warm weather, but they were experiencing "winter", so it was rainy and dreary and a little cold. But it made for pretty flowers and green grass! (Above: Luke, Jaedyn (Tarah's niece), Grace, Ryan, Sofia, & Audrey. It was nap time for my guys)
